La Fonda del Mar Bed and Breakfast Inn located on the East Cape, near San Jose del Cabo, is environmentally friendly and totally solar powered. Each of the three palapa (palmed roof) casitas are tucked away in a tropical garden. Two casitas have queen-sized beds and the other has a double and a twin bed. Each room has a ceiling fan, private half-bath (toilet and sink), shared shower facilities, and great ocean views all round. A 4th. suite has been added with a Queen size bed and a double hide-a-bed couch. The suite has its own private bath including a shower.

Buzzard’s Bar and Grill can easily accommodate large parties, vegetarian and special diets with advanced notice.
La Fonda del Mar Bed and Breakfast Inn is five minutes from the quaint fishing village of Pueblo La Playa and the charming downtown San Jose del Cabo.

Travel books and the Auto Club list our area as Laguna Hills on their maps and scenic side trips on the East Cape road.

We’re only 30 minutes from Cabo San Lucas, where the famous Land’s End arch marks where the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez meet, and only one hour to the art colony of Todo Santos and home of the Hotel California. Then just another scenic hour to the city
of La Paz.

Rates: Double Occupancy Rates – In Season Rates: (Nov. 1 through May 15) Rooms 1-2-3: $75.00 plus tax; Room 4: $95.00 plus tax. All rooms include breakfast for 2. Off Season Rates: (May 16 through Oct. 31) Rooms 1-2-3: $65.00 plus tax; Room 4: $85.00 plus tax. Price does not include tax. Two (2) full breakfasts, ordered off Buzzards Breakfast Menu, are included in the price of the room any time during open hours.
